POSITION SUMMARY

Work on some of the most beautiful and luxurious pools built in the entire country.  Be a part of a team that strives for excellence.  Know that your part in the intricate assembling, installing, and repairing of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and filtration systems on our complex swimming pools and spas, built according to specifications and plumbing codes, helps construct our amazing pools and spas.  Your work is the lifeline of these works of art.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
  • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
  • Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
  • Fill out daily work orders in a detailed and precise manner.
  • Perform complex calculations and planning for special or very large jobs
  • Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and all necessary equipment for swimming pools using hand and power tools.
  • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
  • Install schedule 40 PVC pipe from 1’ to 10” diameter in different environments.
  • Keep truck clean and in good working condition; fully loaded with necessary equipment and materials.
  • Core Drill through concrete walls

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:    High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:  Two+ years of related experience with upscale pools and spas. Basic knowledge of hydraulics a plus. Working knowledge of 1-1/2 to 10” piping.
