Position Overview: Heating Sales and Service Manager
  
As the Heating Sales and Service Manager at Tortorella Heating & Gas LLC, you will be at the forefront of our mission to elevate heating sales and service operations to unprecedented levels of success. Your role is pivotal, encompassing multifaceted responsibilities that span from devising and executing comprehensive sales strategies to ensuring exceptional service delivery and unwavering customer satisfaction.
In this capacity, you will lead our team in crafting and implementing innovative strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and propelling market expansion. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with the sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities and cultivate essential client-builder relationships to broaden our customer base.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Sales Strategy and Leadership
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies with our Operational and Revenue Leads to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify sales and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Identify and nurture key client/builder relationships to expand the company's customer base.
 Product Knowledge and Expertise
    • Five plus years of experience in the propane industry
    • Plan workloads for delivery drivers, installers, service technicians and dispatchers
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our high-end heating products, their features, and benefits
    • Manage on-site truck fleet and resources
    • Work alongside the Heating Technical Trainer to develop standards and provide training to the field team and new hires.
    • Proficient in servicing, installing, and maintaining propane and natural gas heating systems, inclusive of pool & spa heaters.
    • Fluent in all local, and national propane and natural gas industry standards
 
  • Service Excellence
    • Unwavering service to Tortorella’s amazing customers
    • Oversee the heating department, ensuring timely and high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services. Work in collaboration with Heating Technical Trainer.
    • Implement best practices for heating delivery, heating installations and customer satisfaction, continuously improving heating standards.
 
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
    • Use market insights to develop pricing strategies, product offerings, and marketing campaigns to grow our propane routes.
 
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage budgets for the heating division, optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.
 
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure swift resolution.
 
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, service metrics, and financial results.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
 
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Emphasize and enforce safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
    • Work alongside the Training Department to develop and conduct safety training sessions. Ensure all employees are well-versed in safety protocols.
Location:
  • Hampton Bays, New York (On-Site)
 Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $80,000- $90,000. In accordance with New York’s Pay Transparency Law, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The listed salary range reflects the base pay for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include bonuses or equity, as applicable.
